City Council Candidates Forum September 30
The October Focus on Tigard cable television program will be devoted to a Mayor and Council candidate forum. The program will be taped in the Town Hall at City Hall at 7 PM. The public is encouraged to arrive at 6:30 PM to meet the candidates before the taping begins. There will also be an opportunity to speak with candidates at the conclusion of the taping at approximately 8:30 PM.

Tigard citizens are encouraged to submit questions for the candidates. Representatives of the City's Committee for Citizen Involvement will meet immediately prior to the taping on Thursday, September 30 to review all of the questions and select the questions to be posed to the candidates. Every attempt will be made by the CCI representatives to select questions that represent a broad range of issues and the topics of greatest interest as reflected in questions submitted.

Prior to 5 PM on Wednesday, September 29, residents may submit written questions on-line to Liz Newton at liz@tigard-or.gov, by mail to Liz Newton, 13125 SW Hall Boulevard, Tigard, OR 97223, or in person at City Hall marked "Attention: Liz Newton". Questions may be submitted on September 30 from 8 AM to 6:30 PM at City Hall.
