January Bull Mountain Annexation Open House Canceled
The Bull Mountain Annexation Plan open house originally scheduled for January 21st has been canceled. The City Council scheduled this open house in the event that they decided to place the Annexation Plan issue on the March 2004 ballot in order to provide information to residents of Tigard and Bull Mountain.

At the December 16, 2003 City Council meeting, it was officially decided to delay a decision to place the issue on the March 2004 ballot until additional work could be completed. The Council has directed that several committees be formed to address specific issues raised while Council gathered input from citizens of Bull Mountain and Tigard on the issue of placing the Annexation Plan on the ballot. It is intended that these committees will have completed necessary work by July 2004 in order to consider placing the issue on the ballot for November 2004.

Opportunities for citizen involvement continue as these committees are formed, as Council continues to gather input and as future open houses and public hearings are held.
