Tigard Public Library Hosts 3rd Annual Holiday Open House In celebration of the season, the Tigard Public Library invites the community to share refreshments, music and merriment at the 3rd Annual Holiday Open House on Friday, December 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This event will be in the Puett Room of the library. There will be musical performances throughout the evening. The Tualatin Elementary School Panther Singers will sing from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. This group of fourteen talented youngsters is lead by Director, Chris Adams-Brown, music teacher at Tualatin Elementary School and also Director of the Tigard- Tualatin- Sherwood Children's Choir. Ariel Tebben entertains from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Ariel is a vocalist and songwriter who also plays a variety of instruments, including the Celtic harp. She will be performing songs from her new release, Wintersong. Join staff and members of the Tigard Pops as Director, Jeffrey Kauffman, leads us in a medley of seasonal favorites from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. The Tigard Pops is a community-based recreational singing group that welcomes all who love to sing. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of violinist, George Shiolas. George will perform a repertoire of classical pieces from the Baroque and Romantic periods, Bach's Partita in E Major, seasonal songs, and Jewish music. George will perform from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Please join us at the Tigard Public Library on Friday, December 19th.
