GIS Strategic Plan
The City recently went through a major overhaul of its Geographic Information System (GIS), moving it from a department 'silo' based system to a fully functional enterprise system. The Strategic Plan serves as a road map for City to maximize its investment in GIS technology while ensuring the technology designed, developed and maintain as efficiently as possible.
GIS Needs Assessment Report
The GIS Needs Assessment reports documents people's business needs for GIS and to use these requirements to develop a clear vision to guide recommendations, priorities, and actions for GIS development.
GIS Solution Report
The GIS Solution Report encapsulates all of the disparate needs collected in the GIS Needs Assessment Report and presents a clear and well organized set of solutions/recommendations for the City's enterprise GIS.
GIS Data Assessment
The GIS Data Assessment document is comprised of a matrix that includes a recommended thematic organizational structure, development of feature datasets, and an evaluation of individual layers, or feature classes.
