The Tigard Public Library's local history collection documents the Tigard area's
development from the 1850s to the present. Although the collection's primary focus
is Tigard, the Local History Room also contains some material on nearby communities
and Washington County in general.
The Local History Room is located on the 2nd floor. The collection includes:
Books, articles and newspaper clippings
Maps and atlases
Photographs and scrapbooks
Tigard High School yearbooks
Information on historical businesses, entrepreneurs and notable residents
Local History Resources
