Email Reference Service provides brief answers to factual questions as well as suggestions for resources which might help you find what you need. Your email questions, as with all reference questions, will be treated with strict confidentiality. For online reference chat service go to the Oregon Libraries Network (LNet). To search the library collection, place holds, check your account and even renew items, you will want to visit our on-line catalog. Who can use it? Washington County Cooperative Library Services registered cardholders may submit reference questions online and receive answer by email, fax, phone or mail. Because this service is available only to registered WCCLS cardholders, be sure to include your card number in your request. How to apply for a card. When to expect a response? Normally, we will respond to you by the close of the next business day, excluding weekends and holidays, although some questions may take longer. If you need an answer sooner, you can call your local library or the Beaverton Library Telephone Reference Line at 503-526-2577. How to ask a question? To make this service most effective, and to help us answer your question correctly, please be as specific as possible in your request. Try to provide as many details as you can.
