Computer Classes Offered


New to computers and the Internet?
Show up for free classes with Tigard Public Library staff.

Computer classes are held in the Technology Room on the second floor of the library. Open Computer Lab time is available each week. All classes are free. Registration is not required. Classes are available on a first come, first served basis.

Learn basic terminology and get an overview of the Windows operating system including the desktop, taskbar and start menu.

Learn to choose an email provider, set-up an email account, and write and send a message.

Build on your basic word processing skills and learn more about changing the "look" of your document. Learn about changing font styles, using bullets and numbered lists, adding shaded borders and inserting clipart or photos into your documents.
