LEGO® Construction Zone
Sundays: April 27 and May 25 1:30-3 p.m. Puett Room Ages 5 and up
Future engineers and mathematicians! Drop in to work on your LEGO® creations with other builders and give our race track a spin. We'll supply the building blocks; you bring your creativity.


Dia de los Niños/Children's Day
Wednesday, April 30 5:30-7 p.m. Burgess Community Room All ages
Take an international adventure with stories! Celebrate languages of the world by visiting several short bilingual story time stations. Grab a passport and get a stamp at each "country" you visit. After your travels, enjoy snacks including pan dulce, a delicious bread from Mexico.

¡Emprenda a una aventura internacional con historias! Celebre las lenguas del mundo visitando varias estaciones con la hora del cuento histórico, bilingües. Fused Glass Art and More
Sunday, May 4 1:30-4 p.m. Puett Room Ages 5 through adult
Make your own fused glass creation. Artist Rae Campbell will teach you how. She will take your creations to the kiln to fire. Pick up your finished masterpiece later. Sign up for instruction at 1:30 or 3 p.m. Come anytime between 1:30 and 4 p.m. and make glass magnets and votives. Registration required. Please stop by the Children's Desk or call 503-718-2656 to sign up for fused glass instruction.


Zomba! Marimba Ensemble
Tuesday, May 13 6:30-7:30 p.m. Burgess Community Room All ages
Take a musical trip to a sunny place with the warm acoustic sounds of Alberta Rider Elementary School's marimba ensemble.


Build a Boat!
Saturday, May 17 1:30-2:30 p.m. Puett Room All ages
Be a boatbuilder for the afternoon! Construct cork sailboats, fold paper rowboats, and put together wood and foam rafts. When you're finished, test your creations to see how they float!
