Support the Library

Support the Library
Since we moved into the current facility in 2004, library use has continued to grow. Thanks for your continued support. Here are some additional ways to help the library. All donations to the Library, the Friends or the Foundation, whether monetary or material, are tax-deductible. Another great way to support the library is to volunteer. We always have opportunities to help.

Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Library officially began in 1979. Since then, they have contributed more than $230,000 for programming, books, artwork, furnishings and much more. They always welcome new members.

Library Foundation
Founded in 2001, the Foundation is a non-profit organization that encourages private giving to support major enhancements and improvements to the Library.

Donation Guidelines
You may also donate used books, DVDs, CDs, audio books etc. Donated items will either be added to the Library's collection or donated to the Friends of the Library for their book sales. Please review guidelines for acceptable donations before donating materials.

Memorials and Gifts
A unique way to pay tribute to friends or family members who have passed away is to make a memorial donation to purchase books in their honor. You can also make a contribution to purchase books to celebrate a special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary or retirement.
