In Memory of...

The Tigard Library is pleased to accept donations for the purchase of memorial books to honor deceased friends and relatives.

A selection may be made for the Adult, Young Adult or Children’s collections. Library staff are available to assist by recommending titles or subject areas appropriate to both the honoree and the library collection, or the donor may request that a selection be made from a subject area of significance to the person being honored.

Memorial Book Plate A memorial bookplate will be placed in the book selected, giving the honored person’s name and the donor’s name. The donor may remain anonymous if he/she wishes. Designated family and friends of the honored person will be notified of the gift at the donor’s request. A record of the gift, including the honored person’s name, the book title and the donor’s name (if not anonymous) will be kept in the Library.

Donor envelopes and donation forms are available at the Tigard Public Library. Download the Donation Form here
(PDF file) or contact us and we'll be happy to mail one to you.
