Tigard Library Foundation
The Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that encourages donations to the
Tigard Public Library to support significant library enhancements and to help offset
the costs of future capital improvements. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
The Foundation offers numerous opportunities to assist the Library through cash contributions;
annual gifts for ongoing operations; wills and bequests; memorial gifts; insurance policies;
stocks; corporate and matching gifts and more. The Foundation also provides information on
how people can include the Library in their estate planning.
Founded in 2001, the Foundation ran a commemorative brick campaign in 2003-04 to raise
funds for books for the new library. More than 600 bricks were purchased and are
located in the entryway and courtyard of the Library. That campaign has ended.
The Foundation also contributed funds to commission
artwork
when the current Library building opened in 2004.
