Help shape Tigard’s New Library
The Tigard Library is pleased to accept donations for Celebration Books to honor a
special occasion!
A selection may be made for circulating or reference materials, for the Adult, Young Adult or Children’s collection.
The staff of the Library will be happy to assist by recommending titles or subject areas appropriate to both the
honoree and the library collection, or the donor may request that a selection be made from a subject area of
significance to the person being honored.
A celebration bookplate will be placed in the book selected, giving the honored person’s name and the donor’s name.
The donor may remain anonymous if he/she wishes. Designated family and friends of the honored person will be
notified of the gift at the donor’s request. A record of the gift, including the honored person’s name, the book
title and the donor’s name (if not anonymous) will be kept in the Library.
Donor envelopes and donation forms are available at the Tigard Public Library.
