Main Street Green Street Project
(June 23, 2010)
The Main Street Green Street project will retrofit the southern half of Main Street, from Pacific Highway to the railroad corridor, to full green street standards. The project includes wider sidewalks, landscaping, new street lighting and street trees.

Fanno Creek Trail Partial Closure
(December 21, 2009)
The Fanno Creek Trail segment connecting to Ash Avenue will be closed for construction during the week of December 21st to bicycle and pedestrian access.

Burnham Street Construction Takes a Holiday Break
(December 16, 2009)
Construction on Burnham Street near Tigard's downtown will be halted for two weeks over the holidays. The planned break from December 21 to January 4 will ensure construction-free shopping and dining.

Façade Improvement Program to Revitalize Main Street

Burnham Street Groundbreaking Ceremony

Please join Mayor Craig Dirksen on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the corner of Burnham Street and Ash Avenue from 3-4 p.m. to celebrate the New Burnham Street.

Ash Avenue Dog Park Closed During Construction
(October 15, 2009)
The NEW Burnham Street is under construction and dogs are being "scent" to other dog parks starting November 1, 2009. At the completion of the project - anticipated in late 2010 - the community will have a New Burnham Street and an improved Ash Avenue Dog Park.

Fanno Creek Restoration Work (Phase I) Complete

Stream restoration work and trail closures in Fanno Creek Park are over for now, but will begin again in summer 2010.

Spraying for Non-native Plants

On Monday, August 17th a contractor for Clean Water Services will begin spraying along Fanno Creek between SW Main Street and SW Ash Avenue.
