Construction on Main Street Underway
Tigard’s Main Street Green Street Project is underway. The project will rebuild the southern half of Main Street in Downtown Tigard, from Pacific Highway/99W to the railroad crossing. Details.
Brownfields Initiative
A grant from Business Oregon is funding the current work to inventory potential brownfield sites within the City Center Urban Renewal Area, and perform three Phase 1 environmental assessments for interested property owners. Learn more about the Brownfields Initiative.
Downtown Gateway Art
On January 7, 2014 the Board of the CCDA approved the "Petals" art concept by artist Brian Borrello, as recommended by the City Center Advisory Commission and the CCAC Public Art Subcommittee.

The artwork will be installed at the two gateways on either end of Main Street where it meets Pacific Highway. Look for installation to happen soon after the Main Street green street project wraps up later in 2014.
