Outdoor Projects for Volunteers
Tigard has a variety of opportunities for volunteers to choose from including one time events and ongoing projects.

Assist Parks staff planting and maintaining trees and native restoration areas.
Help maintain grounds at the Tigard Senior Center.
Join the Adopt-a-Street, Adopt-a-Path, or Adopt-A-Stream programs.
Work with staff to remove Blackberry, English Ivy, and other non-native species from parks and undeveloped areas.
Carry out short term special projects such as filling sand bags or building bat and bird houses on an as needed basis.
Install educational plaques on city storm drains to alert the public that anything poured down these drains runs directly into our rivers and streams.
