Volunteer Opportunities

"Tree for All" on Pinebrook Creek
Are those grey winter days closing in on you? Beat the winter blahs with city volunteers and leaders from Friends of Trees. We’re installing 1,500 native plants along Pinebrook Creek, a quiet and peaceful waterway in the heart of Tigard. All ages are welcome at this family-friendly event!

  • When: Saturday, February 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Meet at the volunteer tent on the corner of Pinebrook Street and 89th Avenue in Tigard
  • What: Plant native trees and shrubs, bring mud boots for the wet areas
  • Registration: Required for groups of three or more
Dress for the weather; rubber boots are recommended. Tools, gloves and snacks will be provided. If you need more information or want to register your group, contact Environmental Program Coordinator Carla Staedter at 503-718-2788 or carla@tigard-or.gov.
