Tigard Safety Town Registration Information - 2010
What is Safety Town: Tigard Safety Town is a nine-day class where children learn about bicycle, pedestrian, home and personal safety through the use of puppets, speakers, films, music and hands on activities such as riding through our own Safety Town!

Children learn abut bicycle, pedestrian, home, fire, electrical, personal safety and more.

Volunteers have run this program since 1972!!!
Who is eligible to participate? Kids who have a birthday between September 1, 2003 to January 1, 2006. No exceptions.
Registration Date/Time: Registration is at Tigard City Hall on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 9 a.m. for Tigard residents. At 9:45 a.m. registration is open to those living outside of the 97223 & 97224 zip codes if space allows.



Registration is for the following session dates:
  • 1st Session*: June 21st - July 1st (Monday to Thursday)
  • 2nd Session*: July 6th - July 16th (Monday to Thursday)
*Each session offers a morning (9 - 11:15 a.m.) or afternoon (Noon - 2:15 p.m.) class.
Location: Registration is at Tigard City Hall in the Town Hall, 13125 SW Hall Blvd.

Safety Town is held at Mary Woodward Elementary School.
Registration Fee: $60 (each additional sibling $55).
Important Info: The child's legal guardian must be present at registration and bring:

1. Child’s valid birth certificate (no substitutions!)
2. Proof of address
3. Medical insurance policy number and medical information
4. Name and phone number of child’s doctor
