Woodard Park

Woodard Park Location
10155 SW Johnson Street

Woodard Park
Bordered by Fanno Creek and Tiedeman, Johnson and Katherine Streets, Woodard Park sits tucked away in the center of the city. The original 4.5-acre park site expanded in 1999, when another 5.5 acres were purchased through Metro. The park is best known for its large oak trees and ponderosa pines; park structures were actually designed around these big trees. Park-goers can hear the creek babble along while walking Fanno Creek trail as it winds through this quiet, neighborhood park.

In addition to a swing set, the park has two play structures, one for younger children and a second, more challenging structure, for older kids. In 2003, a state grant enabled the city to construct a picnic shelter and install a drinking fountain in the park. All park amenities are ADA accessible and are located along Fanno Creek trail.
