Notice of Ash Avenue Dog Park Relocation
The City of Tigard is working on a redevelopment plan to construct new housing on the site that currently includes
the Tigard Public Works Yard and the Ash Avenue Dog Park. This will fulfill a main goal of the voter-approved City Center Urban
Renewal Plan—to revitalize Downtown Tigard by attracting more residents. Construction could begin as early as summer 2015.
The city will relocate the Ash Avenue Dog Park to one of two comparable sites just across the
street. The new dog park will be open prior to closing of the existing park, and will have similar amenities.
