Volunteers are always needed for the Tigard Dog Park Committee
The Committee assists the City of Tigard Parks Division to maintain the dog parks
and acts as an informal liaison between the Parks Department and the
dog park users. The Committee organizes community-related events at dog parks in
Tigard.
Annually, in July, an event called Dog Days of Tigard is conducted at
Potso Dog Park. In late October of each year the Committee conducts a
Halloween party (at Ash Avenue Dog Park in 2012) for the dogs who come in costume. Judges
rate the costumes and prizes are awarded.
