Parks in Tigard
From open green fields to fishing on the Tualatin River, parks in Tigard offer you the great outdoors. With more than 300 acres of parks, greenways and natural areas, the City of Tigard provides a variety of options for recreation, while protecting the area’s natural beauty and providing valuable wildlife habitat.

Park acreage in Tigard: 181.25 Developed (parks) and 202.4 Undeveloped (greenways, wetlands, etc.) (383.65 acres total = 8.29 acres per thousand)
Summerlake Park
Now Accepting 2008 Park Reservations
The city has five park shelters in Cook Park and one in Summerlake Park. These shelters can be reserved from April 1 through October 12. Shelters are typically equipped with picnic tables, barbeque grills, electricity and water. Restrooms are usually located nearby. The largest shelter can accommodate up to 250 people.
