Parks in Tigard
From open green fields to fishing on the Tualatin River, parks in Tigard offer you the great outdoors. With more than 300 acres of parks, greenways and natural areas, the City of Tigard provides a variety of options for recreation, while protecting the area’s natural beauty and providing valuable wildlife habitat.

Park acreage in Tigard: 181.25 Developed (parks) and 202.4 Undeveloped (greenways, wetlands, etc.) (383.65 acres total = 8.29 acres per thousand)

Tigard is proud to be a partner of The Intertwine; a growing network of integrated parks, trails, and natural areas.
Summerlake Park
Ash Street Dog Park is Closed
The NEW Burnham Street is now under construction and dogs are being "scent" to other dog parks effective November 1, 2009.

At the completion of the project - anticipated in late 2010 - the community will have a New Burnham Street and an improved Ash Street Dog Park.

Now Accepting Park Reservations
The city has four park shelters in Cook Park and one in Summerlake Park. Reservations are now being accepted for events that occur between March 29 and September 30, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. or dusk (whichever is earlier). Shelters are typically equipped with picnic tables, barbeque grills, electricity and water. Restrooms are usually located nearby. The largest shelter can accommodate up to 250 people.

Baseball and soccer field reservations are only accepted in-person at the Public Works Building, 8777 SW Burnham Street, Tigard.
