November 8, 2016 Election

Final November Election Results
The Washington County Election office has certified the results from the Nov. 8 general election for two seats on the City Council and three local ballot measures.

City Council Election Results
Sitting Councilor Jason Snider and candidate Tom Anderson were the top two vote-getters in the race for two vacancies on the Tigard City Council, beating out Bret Lieuallen and Tristan Irvin.

The two candidates who receive most votes for the open seats are elected. The final vote count certified by the county showed the following tally:

  • Jason Snider 11,595
  • Tom Anderson 10,156
  • Bret Lieuallen 5,335
  • Tristan Irvin 5,172

Tigard Ballot Measure Results

  • Light Rail:  Ballot Measure 34-255, allow city to support extending light rail service to Tigard
