Pay Your City of Tigard Utility Bill Over the Web!
The City of Tigard now offers a this free service allowing you to
view your account information and pay your City of Tigard Utility Bill online. The secure
UBPayments service lets you view your account history, consumption history and billing
information, pay your bill using a credit card and be notified by e-mail when you get
a new bill. This service is free but you must be using a web browser that supports
"JavaScript", such as Netscape 4 or newer or Internet Explorer 4 or newer.
Getting Started
- Click on the Online Utility Payments link.
- Using a recent bill for reference, fill in the first name and last name of the
account holder and the exact customer number as shown on your bill.
- Enter an e-mail address you would like receipts mailed to, and choose a login
name and password that you will use to access your utility account. (Hint: if you can’t
think of a good login name, use your e-mail address so that it’s easy to remember).
- If the account information matches your records, you’ll be told that you have signed
up and can now log in.
- Once you log in, you can view your account information by clicking on the tabs near
the top of the screen labeled "Quickview," "Account History," and "Account Information."
- Click on the "Messages" tab to read messages sent by the City of Tigard utility
billing or click the "Options" tab to change your password, e-mail address, or other
information about your online account.
- To pay your utility bill, click on the "Quickview" or "Account History" tab,
and then click on the "Pay Now" button to begin the four-step process:
choose how much you want to pay
enter your credit card information
review
complete your payment
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Customers facing
shutoff should contact City of Tigard Utility Billing directly instead of paying online to
ensure your payment is received in time to avoid being shut off and incurring additional
charges.
