The City of Tigard is constantly working to provide our customers with a dependable and plentiful supply of CLEAN, SAFE drinking water.

It's important to understand that providing clean, safe drinking water is a complicated task. For the customer, it means turning on a faucet and having water. But for the staff at the City of Tigard Water Division, making sure our customers have water means coordinating with wholesale water providers; performing regular maintenance on distribution pipes, valves and pumps; checking water facility sites; monitoring the water quality; replacing old hydrants; and repairing leaking pipes. These are just a few of the many duties the Water Division performs each and every day.

In addition to providing clean, safe drinking water, the City of Tigard provides a variety of informational materials. These materials are provided to educate and inform water customers of various health issues related to drinking water, trouble-shooting ideas, the source of our water as well as water quality data.

For more information regarding water quality, contact Sally Mills at 503-718-2604 or email at sally@tigard-or.gov.
