Parks and Open Spaces

Parks and Open Spaces
As places of recreation and greenery, parks and open spaces are major contributors to the physical and aesthetic quality of neighborhoods.

Parks add to the vitality of communities and their residents by providing a place to enjoy fresh air and exercise. The Tigard park system includes 181.25 acres of city parks and 202.4 acres of greenway and other preservation-oriented sites.
