The Community Development Department consists of the Administration, Building, Capital Construction
and Transportation, Current Planning, Development Engineering, and Long Range Planning Divisions.
The functions of the department include community planning, administration of the
Community Development Code as it relates to land development, park planning and
development, and building plan review and inspections.
