Code Compliance

Thank you for your interest in maintaining Tigard as "A Place to Call Home." It is important to us that Tigard remains a safe, clean, and attractive community.

Code enforcement is a responsibility shared between multiple agencies and City departments. Outside agency requests should be directed to the agency responsible for enforcement; a list of contact information is included below. For code compliance within the City of Tigard, you can submit a City of Tigard code compliance request by using our online Community Code Compliance system.

Sometimes talking with your neighbor is the quickest way to address a problem. The City of Tigard continues to partner with Beaverton's Dispute Resolution Center to offer free mediation services to Tigard residents. The Dispute Resolution Center provides six (6) mediation programs tailored to customer needs. For more information about this program, please visit them on the web or contact them at 503-526-2523 or email disputemail@ci.beaverton.or.us.
