Sidewalk Improvements:
64th Avenue to Canterbury Lane

The Oregon Department of Transportation is currently filling in sidewalk gaps along Hwy 99W. These improvements will result in:

Safer pedestrian conditions on Hwy 99W. Installation of new sidewalks will result in greater safety of pedestrians.
Improved Disabled Access. Existing sidewalks near Highway 217 will be replaced with new wider ramps improving conditions for disabled persons.

Construction began in March 2009 and is expected to be complete in July. These changes are funded by the Oregon Department of Transportation.
