Hwy 99W Tigard Intersection Improvements

Intersection Improvements:
- Greenburg Road to Hwy 99W
- Hall Boulevard to Hwy 99W

Beginning in 2010, the City of Tigard & Washington County will be making changes to the intersections of Greenburg Road and Hwy 99W, and Hall Boulevard and Hwy 99W. These changes will result in:

  • Better Traffic Flow. The project will create a dedicated left turn, straight, and right turn lane on Hall Boulevard, improving flow through the intersection.
  • Improved conditions on Hwy 99W. An additional northbound lane on Hwy 99W between Greenburg Road and Highway 217 will reduce congestion.
Construction of both projects is expected to begin in Summer 2010. The Hall Boulevard / Hwy 99W improvements are funded by Washington County, and the Greenburg Road / Hwy 99W improvements are funded by the city's gas tax.
