Traffic Delays on Walnut Street Extend Through September 5
As part of the Derry Dell Creek Restoration Project, a section of Walnut Street—between Pathfinder Court and 106th Drive—will be under construction through September 5. No work will take place during the Labor Day Holiday weekend.

72nd Avenue Set for 21-Day Closure
Starting September 25, 72nd Avenue will be closed from Dartmouth Street south to just past Elmhurst Street. The city expects the closure to last 21 days; the road is scheduled to re-open October 17, 2014. Press Release  |   Project Details

From more than 50 entries, Ben Mansheim and Henry Ammann were selected as winners of the inaugural Tigard Vision photo contest. A panel of three judges selected the winners for best portraying their vision of Tigard. View all contest entries.

"Kids and balloons" by Ben Mansheim and "Almost graduates" by Henry Ammann

The photo contest was created to promote Tigard's proposed new strategic plan to become "the most walkable community in the Pacific Northwest where people of all ages and abilities enjoy healthy and interconnected lives." Residents are encouraged to submit input about the proposed vision on the Strategic Plan webpage.

Construction on City’s Permit Center Underway
Tigard’s exterior siding repair project, referred to as “the Wrap,” will be underway in August 2014. The city’s contractor will replace the failing siding on the Permit Center located at 13125 SW Hall Boulevard. Read more...
