Tigard's Main Street Green Street project will rebuild the southern half of Main Street in Downtown Tigard, from Pacific Highway/99W to the railroad crossing.

Mayor Cook and Councilor Woodard Issue Statements on Election Results
The narrow passage of ballot measure 34-210 tells us voters want to have more control over how and where high capacity transit might be built in our city, and that they want to cast another ballot someday on the construction of a future light rail or bus rapid transit project. Plan Your Route - Changes Slated for Pacific Hwy
Construction is underway now and should be completed by mid-2014. To lessen impacts to motorists, most work will take place at night. Upcoming changes to Pacific Hwy. (from Hwy. 217 to 71st Ave.) will improve safety and reduce motorists’ travel time through the area. Read more...

Walmart: Keeping You in the Know
Construction is underway on the 137,900 square foot Walmart store at the SW corner of 72nd and Dartmouth in the Tigard triangle. View the responses to the questions submitted to the City Council on May 28 by CPO 4M. Review the approved traffic plan and the overall project roadway improvement maps. View the overview map showing construction impacts at 72nd and Hampton set to begin the week of April 7.

Walmart will build the project in conformance with the land use approvals granted in 2009 and 2010. The store is scheduled to open in Fall 2014. More on Walmart's website...
